Ph.D Students

Daniel Kudenko is a research group leader at the L3S Research Center, Leibniz University Hannover, Germany. Before that he was a member of the Computer Science faculty at the  University of York, a group head at JetBrains Research and professor at the Saint Petersburg National Research Academic University of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He got a Ph.D. from Rutgers University and a  Masters degree from University of the Saarland, Germany. His research interests include machine (specifically reinforcement) learning, multi-agent systems, user modeling, and artificial intelligence for games and interactive entertainment. 

Within these areas, he published more than 130 peer-reviewed papers, and has been a member of numerous program committees, including IJCAI and AAAI, and has served on the senior program committee of AAMAS.
